There is no short cut to success
From the book of one of our mentors we are sharing few pages with the title ‘’there is no short cut to success… she says like a farmer who cannot expect to sow today and reap tomorrow or sleep all year around ad start working like a mad in the last month is expecting to get his or her yield, we must all in our yields in our respective areas respect the “law of the farm”
Put in the time to be successful today and always; In Outliers, Malcom Gladwell writes that those that have become the best they are (Bill Gates, Steve Job) put in no less 10,000 hours of work to master their skill. As a Tanzania Youth, if you really want success that lasts to put in the time to be the best you can be in that area. If you want success, you also have to put in the sacrifice.
Quality attracts so make the effort; “threes a concept I have learnt that I will for ever be grateful to God for work more than what you get paid for. It sounds crazy right when you put in the effort than the equivalent you receive in payment you send the messages that you are more concerned with integrity and satisfying the client (or your employer) than you are about the pay. The quality performance is of greater importance to you than making a quick buck. People see that and they will bring you more business or more promotions. There are no two ways about it, you must put in the time and make the effort to work when everybody is at play and with this I ended up bringing in more business than the initial assignment.
Honesty is the best policy; “the most respectable and wealthy people I know and have ever heard of have sacrificed money and resources because they chose not to cheat the system to get ahead. They are still in the business today making millions sleeping soundly.
