Multi-tasking is action of dealing with more than one task at a time. As the computer executes more than one programme simultaneously. We all do it: Texting while walking, sending emails during meetings, chatting on the phone while cooking dinner. In today’s society, doing just one thing at a time seems downright luxurious, even wasteful. Multi-tasking is believed to reduce chances of success, growth and improvement, I believe that can happen only if there is lack of self-control, poor planning and un divided attention to the task at hand. Multitasking can be both challenging and a short cut to get things done in a short time, because at some point of each of our lives we have done multitasking, deadlines at work with client’s meetings, exams and house chores, handling more than one business. Learn the art of multi-tasking; Take it as picking out food from buffet menu, taking too much on your plate only to eat 3 spoons and trash away the rest of the food, same wit multi-tasking in order to succeed and accomplish everything first start with few tasks at a time, learn to master them then from there grow, pick a few routine tasks to start with. As you master doing multiple routine things, then move on to slightly more difficult tasks. Gradually work up to the number of tasks you normally do.

Take a break; multi-tasking shouldn’t overwhelm you and cause unnecessary stress. This requires a lot of brain energy by simply slowing down and working up to the performance level you desire, you can multitask effectively and increase productivity. take a fifteen minutes break and do whatever you like during these fifteen minutes to clear your head and give your brain a rest. If you really can’t afford a fifteen-minute break in your day, then turn off your mind as you walk to the water cooler or restroom. Give your mind some kind of total break from the workday tasks. To function at peak levels on a consistent basis, regular breaks are essential.
