Body Image is the perception that one has of her physical self and the thoughts and feelings that result from that perception. We come in all different shapes and sizes, a lot of times this very diversity can be misconstrued into being inadequate or unfitting when compared to society’s ideal image. But does what meets the eye really weight on a girl’s validity or worth???Of course, not in as much as we thrive to be among the most visually attractive beings , sadly we use our image to gauge our self worth which is completely WRONG. Here are our tips on how to maintain a positive perception of yourself.
i) Flaunt Your Flaws every single woman even the world’s biggest supermodels have NATURAL FLAWS! You may ask yourself how do they manage to be so confident in spite of that? well the secret is in identifying your natural flaws and embracing them , realistically there isn’t much we can do to alter our genetic blemishes ,as a matter of fact they make us different and unique, whether its an exaggerated forehead or big ears, or a huge mole on our faces but look at Rihanna she has an exaggerated forehead and flaunts it or Cindy Crawford has a mole but that has been her signature beauty mark to a point where ladies even draw a spot to mimic her. So flaunt it girl!
ii) Do Your Best To Feel Your Best while there certain things we can not really change about our image the great news is there some we can! What are they you may ask?! Well one is weight , if we feel we are underweight or overweight to an extend we can gauge this by a good diet and varying exercising depending on what our body goals are, another factor is the quality our skin this can be improved by a good diet ,exercise , getting enough rest and also using effective remedies both domestic and retail remedies which we have mentioned in our first article and will continue to share in our articles.
iii) Love Yourself while that may sound a little vain, it is imperative that we constantly remind ourselves of our worth and how amazing we are. Look yourself in the mirror regularly this is great for maintaining a positive outlook on your image because honey if you believe it the world will & remember your body carries you closer to your dreams!
iv) Dress To Perfection wear clothes that are comfortable and make you feel good, dress for you and not against you! Know your body type and learn to dress for it, accentuate your image modestly, without wearing clothes that are too tight or too loose wear clothes that flatter your shape.
v) Pioneer Positive Vibes surround yourself with positive people and spend time in positive environments. This helps you remain optimistic and in high spirits rather than harboring pessimism and negative vibes. Also try reading or watching inspiration content regardless of your mood and circumstance nothing beats positivity.
